I could get lost in a place like that…and love every minute of it.

  2. I love the facade on this building. Still haven’t made it to New York, but it says something about where my heart really is when this building is in the top five of places to visit if I ever go.

  3. You’ll love it. There used to be a legend about the two lions that guarded the library. They would only roar if a virgin passed them on the steps. Long time between roars.

It took me a moment to notice three mobile-device users. Is that the ironic message of your post? I was so lost in the grandeur of the edifice and wanted to go in and explore the towering shelves of books and soak in the silence…

    • I took the photo of all the mobile device users in front of an iconic library with a mobile device… is that, too, ironic? Or simply unavoidable? :) Yes, go explore the NYPL… it’s wonderful.

  5. Kurt, your out of bed and out painting New York with a wide brush, incredible. I had an idea that you’re a fairly tough character, I see now that you are tougher than a boiled owl.
I got to do some digging into your books.
