The Dead South is from direct north up in Canada… No, not the great southern Canadian state of Michigan, but that exotic — wait, what do Canadians call “states?”…I don’t remember, probably some French word — state-like place where Big Foot originates from.

I’m such a sucker for banjos (and banjolins, and banjoleles….oh and mandolins) that I’ve taken up restoring them and am, ever-so-slowly, learning to play.
